Big Grin
Thought some of you may like to share your Beds with the rest of us. Smile

A photo before its prepared/sown and a follow up photo when its grown.
Just an idea that came to me when I was clearing a patch in the old chicken run today - how different I hope it will look in a few months time.

My first cut flower bed has been planted up. Probably (definitely) some over crowding going on!
A selection have vole protection around them. So hopefully some will make it to the flowering stage.
Luckily with my beds being so small this year I can plant them up now. Then put them out when it’s warmer.

Sweet rocket, sweet William, mallow, corncockle, flowering carrot, scabious, orlaya, chrysanthemum. Think that’s it.

The temptation to post a pic of my, as yet, unmade sleeping bed is almost irresistibleBig Grin will try to remember to send pic of the totally weed encrusted veg patch in the fullness of time.

Lovely assortment for cuts! I’d better get a move on.

Is that a polystyrene box SC?
If so, it’ll keep their roots nice and cosy.

No not polystyrene. Just thick plastic.

My two veg beds are ready for the warmer weather when it comes.

Bed number 1 has got the environmesh in place ready for carrots but is currently empty apart from some overwintering onions.

Bed number 2 has got autumn raspberries on the right, two newly planted blackberries (Loch Ness) at the back by the hedge, and some sticks marking where I think I will put up some netting for brassicas.

Spring will be here eventually!
