Seen my first Snowdrop - two actually - of 2023. Spring is on its way.

Most of our snowdrops are just peeping through the surface but I saw 2 small clumps today flowering.

First Crocus Tommasinianus in the lawn. Nearly stepped on them as they were under the rotary clothes line where I was pegging out some washing. Spring is definitely on its way.

Saw my first cock pheasant recently under my apple tree where I hang bird feeders, he’s eating the seeds that fall out. Also I’ve seen a common buzzard out back field.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.
