My friend just happens to be going over to the bright lights of Oban tomorrow. So I sent her the link.

My friend didn’t make it to Lidl. But it turns out home base are also giving free seed for bee week.
My friend was given 5 packets. She didn’t actually pay much attention to them at the time. But she got them out this morning ( slight delay due to the silly sod falling over while shopping and fractured her elbow) .
A drum roll is definitely needed…….
2 packets of courgette seeds, 2 packets of beetroot & 1 carrots! All sow by May 22 on them !
Apparently I’m getting some seeds! She doesn’t like courgette!
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Those seem like odd choices for bee week, but free seeds are free seeds!
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

I think Morrisons have free seeds too but I'd left the store before spotting the sign.

The response has been fantastic, we have given enough away to plant over 2000 square metres of wildflower areas to help save the bees so far. You may have noticed the link was down from time to time, this was owing to the pure volume of people logging on to claim the offer and for us to process them.
