Some drizzle early morning that's done no good whatsoever apart from making it very sticky and humid. None of the downpours here either.

The drizzle in Salisbury fizzled out before it got to Basingstoke, currently 24° outside and as JJB states, humid.

I've had my trugs out since yesterday but none of the promised rains arrived yet, like everyone else my water butts are dry

They are predicting lots of rain for us at the weekend but I wouldn't be surprised if that changed to a drizzle given how unreliable the forecasts have been.
