I don't think we have been affected as much by the drought as 'Darn souf' Huh

I have always had enough water in my IBC tank and water butt at allotment to keep my greenhouse watered along with sparingly watering seedlings in outdoors until they are established then I 'Grow em ard' Rolleyes Tatties might be low on volume, but thats my own fault for not adding enough organic matter to soil.

The local reservoirs where I fish are low though and quite dangerous with quicksand around the edges! Cry

Today is overcast, warm with promise of rain........possibly! Big Grin

38 yesterday but luckily the threatened 22 overnight was actually a very pleasant 15 by this morning. Due to be hotter and sunny all day today, but I see little floaty white clouds and they might keep the heat down a little.

Little white floaty clouds are now menacing black ones!
Will the storms make it across the mountains with any rain left?
Or will they dump roof smashing hail on us? Sad
Or just gently dissipate?!!
The joys of mountain weather Smile

It rained a little, but was so hot it just hissed off the ground and roof!

But we did have 1.2mm last night and 1.89mm this morning, not enough but better than nothing!

Shocked
Bright but chilly. I was glad I put my gillet on top of my tee shirt  for Kato's walk earlier! Smile

It's a lovely day here. Sunny, 21° and not too humid. It's going to ramp up temp wise towards the weekend. No rain at all I fear.

Hot (30) and sticky today, but we had enough rain yesterday morning to one third fill two water butts, which I emptied again this morning on the tomatoes, peppers, lettuces and aubergines.
We're no longer allowed to water anything but the potager and that only with watering cans between 9pm and 7am. It makes perfect sense, even the farmers have restrictions, but I increasingly resent all those private swimming pools full of useless chemical/salt water especially if my useful (to nature and the environment) trees die from lack of water Sad

It's been warm today, but I didn't think it was sunny, so I didn't put suncream on. I've burnt ever so slightly on top of my shoulders.
Same again tomorrow, so the suncream is definitely coming out.
