Still tipping it down here, but I've done my work stuff at last. I may venture out into the rain to lug some compost to the greenhouse so I get the greenhouse tomatoes planted into their final containers. I'm still not sure which ones are going to stay in the greenhouse though, so that's an additional challenge.

Still dreary and wet. I have not made it outside and doubt that I will now. Sorry tomatoes.

Just stopped raining. If it stays dry, I might go for a short walk. Garden is too wet to do anything.

The rain I thought would come to nothing yesterday filled up the butts and really soaked the garden, magic. I'm hoping to get out and weed whilst the ground is soft

A dry day yesterday, and a very pleasant mid twenties.
Today the storms are rolling in again at the end of the afternoon so we may get gentle or torrential rain, hailstones or nothing!

A break in the rain so headed down the garden to pick a couple of courgettes before they turn into marrows. My legs are soaked from the long grass. Don't think I'll be planting spuds today!

Wet all day, and cold. So cold, that I had to put the heating on for a bit today!

Thunderstorms aside, we've got through day one of the canicule pretty lightly. It was cloudy most of the day, max 31° but so humid the mirror in the bathroom was all steamed up because I'd left the window open a crack!

Final day of the canicule and on Red alert until tomorrow pm. Most outdoor events were cancelled today and my friend with his food truck came home early from the market.
Our weather station read 44.5 this afternoon, and although it reads high, that's still a record Sad Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more sensible, and I can catch up with all my tasks.

Bright but cold here. Brought the washing in when I thought it was going to rain, then the sun came out. Smile Washing had been out since 7.30am so was dry anyway! Rolleyes
