On the strength of some money coming in, I've booked a local garage door fitting company to give me a quote for repairing/replacing the garage doors. I was told that " We don't send out smartly dressed salespeople, it'll be Jeff - he's big, scruffy and has a ponytail - he'll also fit your doors for you so he knows what he's doing!". Sounds perfect.
Its getting dark so early now - before 7 pm. Must go and read the chooks their bedtime story and tuck them into bed for the night.!!

Anyway, you have to have confidence in a man who can look at your old garage door and say "That's an Avon No 2, made about 35 years ago". He should be back next week, provided the doors arrive and I have my orders - "There'll be 4 of us, we all drink coffee, milk, no sugar".
Subtle hint there, Jeff. In other news, there's very little.
