Adding to the Flock.

...........and an even bigger afternoon treat for us all.
We've been roaming together - 4 chooks, 3 dogs and me.
Dogs and chooks ignored each other, even when the dogs were chasing after balls and apples.
Scraggy neck Bert eats from my hand and White Bum is almost there. Stickyup Tail is the adventurous one, heading off into the undergrowth, fortunately, her tail is a bit of a giveaway; like watching a ships mast on a stormy sea.

Sounds like they’re settling in nicely.

They are Bren.
With hindsight, I'm lucky that I didn't get any hens from the initial rehoming as they were caged hens in barns that probably had very little contact with grass, dogs or people. So sad that this sort of egg production still goes on.
This lot don't seem to be fazed by anything!

Veggie we really need some photos. Good that the chooks are not in lockdown they're better off than everyone else.

        Have you ever tried to get 4 chickens to stand still and smile for the camera, all at the same time?
Here's proof that its not possible.
They're more bedraggled than normal as they've been out in the rain.
