Maggie is the Staffie on the sofa. The daft Lab balanced on the back of the sofa is Shadow.
Shadow is my newphews dog and Maggie was on holiday with them while I was otherwise occupied.

How old is Maggie Neffa? She’s now 12. We adopted her and her Mum 2 years ago. Her Mum Pip the Plop was 13 at the time (although the vet said more like 30) and sadly died 4 months later.
I love the oldies of any breed.

She could be Broadway but that’s what the rescue centre told us. we have spent the last 10+ years fostering the very old and end of life dogs. Everything from from Bassets to Greyhounds to Labs. When our last fosters died (we normally had 2 at a time) we decided that due to home circumstances we would adopt a younger e.g 6-8 year old. I spotted a beautiful Staffie at the rescue. Went to meet him. Made the mistake (or not) of saying about our elderly and last days experience and were promptly introduced to Mags and her Mum. Nuff said we took them.
