Can't add a signature

i just tried to add a signature with my location, etc, but I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error. I tried logging out and logging back in, but no luck. Are there restrictions on the board that I'm not aware of?

I was able to edit it - maybe my original attempt was too long? If so, the forum software is very unhelpful!

ETA: I've used an online character counter to check, and even with all the BBcode, it's only 180 characters - well under the limit of 255 - so I'm at a loss!

OK, I've found the culprit - you can't put quote marks in your signature, for technical reasons that probably won't interest anyone here.

So, my signature has to say "let us" instead of "let's"
