Wet and miserable today but tomorrow's forecast looks like a good day for washing: dry, bright and windy.

It's starting off sunny and promising to be that way all day. A lovely day for the garden but I fear I might be mechanics mate for much it. BAH!

Sunshiny............my favourite word!

Sunny enough to have a long walk in the woods with Kato and no nead for a top coat!
Open day for my fishing waters is on Sunday so I am hoping for a similar windless day then and hopefully a trout or two to the dry fly!

All the birds in this bit of Cheshire think it's spring. This morning a dunnock came scurrying across the back yard looking like she(?) was on a mission. A few seconds later, another came round the corner. Whether she was avoiding him or leading him on, they didn't say.
Two coal tits were collecting material in the garden today and a pair of robins follow me round the garden whenever I go out. If I leave a shed door open when I go in they come in to see if there is anything for them.
