Its Transplant Tuesday so I planted some sprouted Bijou mangetout in big pots, some in the GH, some outdoors. Also planted a mashua cutting from a small pot into a larger one.
I still haven't planted the flower bulbs I bought recently but I did put a hyacinth bulb in one of those waisted vases where the bulb sits above the water. I used to have several of those but I have no idea where they are now - probably broken!

I sowed some beef tomatoes in modules to set on the windowsill, with the mindset that if they are too early to cope with, I can resow. My broad beans in the gh are just about popping.

Fastned a 'cur off' switch to my car to deter car theft and stop my battery from dying on me.

There were a couple of hours of dryness this morning, enough for me to cut down some brambles and fill the garden waste bin for collection tomorrow. The ground is too wet to do much.

The sun came out for a couple of hours so I did some mooching around the "swamp" spotting the changes since my last mooch. There are primroses in flower, more daffs, the rhubarb is through, including the new one planted last year. The Nine Star perennial caulis are starting to bunch their leaves together so I'm hoping that at least one of them will head up. I must sow some more seeds, if I have any!
Did some watering and tidying in the GHs and ate a physalis as a reward!

Washed down the outside of the gh's to get the green algae off. Made some planting compost. Sorted out the cold frame and planted anything that looked like it was growing and binned what was not. Got a nice surprise that what looked like dead sticks of a hibiscus/mallow cutting was showing a tiny bit of green, and disappointed that a hydrangea cuttings wasn't showing anything, but there's time yet. Pleased that my last year's scrumped cuttings of white carnation and hotlips sage were thriving. Had a cuddle with nextdoor's teenage puppy.

I had an upper body pump session then an abs workout last night. This was followed by a really theraputic 2 hour archery session. Starting to get the hang of the left handed shooting now and even managed to get a few arrows in the centre of target! Cool I seem to be getting a tiny bit better with each practice, which I am glad about as I was pretty rubbish at the beginning! Rolleyes Starting to really enjoy it now and I am shooting intuitively which is relaxing as I don't have to concentrate so hard?Smile
