Is that a warning for everyone to keep well clear those days?

Is that a warning for everyone to keep well clear those days? I maybe should have wrote "before being committed"

Finished weeding the onions but not sure it is a good idea as any lurking slugs will have nothing else to munch on. I did kill 4 slugs under stuff nearby.

Pulled up lots of Wild Arum, another invasive plant that I don't need. Cleared some ground where, I may, or may not, plant some of the cheap bulbs I bought last week. Some of the bulbs will be going in pots that I can keep near the house when flowering and park somewhere out of site when they finish.

Tidied my GH and composted some more lettuce.
Back indoors to clean the cooker hood, it’s something I’ve been putting off.

I’ve written some plant labels. Just need to find time to sow the seeds now.

Spent the morning digging out weeds from the front lawn. Both front and back lawns suffered from last year's dought and are now patchy moss ridden tranches of weeds. P likes his lawn and is looking into getting the back reseeded or returfed. Quotes have been the several thousands for 160sqm. If he goes ahead with this in the spring, I will be denied access to my gh's and veg patches (I'm told you shouldn't walk on the lawn for 6wks). That's not going to be acceptable in the springtime, so he may delay until autumn. In the meantime we're weeding and mosskilling.

I watered the potatoes that have started coming up in the tunnel and the calendulas that’s still flowering. Also spent a bit of time watching the bees. As a few were braving the cold on this sunny day.

I used to love seeing the first bees emerging in spring. Can't remember what temperature they become active but it always seemed like spring was very near.

P was investigating how to stop the rain getting to potting shed, then painting some of it with stuff. I potted on some house plants and weeded in the sunshine.
