Steak and sausage day today.
I had a lovely ribeye with a small rump steak while I was waiting for the sausage to cook in the air fryer.
After eatig half the sausage (will have the rest cold for ron) I chopped up a cheaper cut of beef into chunks ad put it into the slow cooker with some curry powder for a beef curry later. Rather than waste the 5p swede I bought at Crimbo I will have beef curry (only meat) and mashed swede with it.

Finishing off last night’s curry. Just bulking it out a bit with more mushrooms, sweet pepper and possibly tomatoes.

It's Sunday night 'takeaway' tonight, i.e. Tesco ready meal. I think P has satay chicken and I've got mushroom Risotto.

B. Porridge, raisins, yogurt & honey
L. Toasted cheese rolls with YS hummus (45p) and lettuce. Two tangerines
D. Moroccan style Lemon Tagine. It was a YS kit meal (use by 08/22) - cost 90p that included spices (cinnamon stick, cloves and cumin seeds), lemon sauce and couscous. I cooked half a courgette, a shallot, a carrot and a tin of chickpeas with the spices, then added the lemon sauce. Also cooked some mushrooms separately and ate it with the couscous. Plenty left for tomorrow.
