IN today - some frozen food (assorted veg and some fruit smoothie mix), pizzas, sachets of microwave rice, pasta in sauce (mostly cheese & broccoli - not my favourite) and about 30 packets of crisps. Apparently, she has fussy kids!

IN today a malt loaf. marshmallows, Salt & vinegar rice and oat cakes and 7 cans of pop. Also from Olio, 2 olive loaves, 4 farmhouse loaves, a fruit loaf, cobs and lots of giraffe batons. I only asked for the olive loaves and fruit loaf but she offered me all the rest just to get rid of it! That's enough bread to see me through October. Big Grin

OUT yesterday - Some Doggy flea treatments.

One of the holiday home owners regularly over buys food every time she comes up. On her last day she appears with a bag of goodies for us. She has excelled her self this time. We had a carrier bag full of stuff. So have one of the handles broke as I was carrying to the kitchen. We’ve got lots of apples, pears, oranges, a few cooking apples, mango, butternut squash, broccoli, lettuce, chillies, spring onions, goats cheese, olives, guacamole, dark chocolate M&S biscuits, a tin of just roll croissant and a pizza ham & mushroom. That’s tea sorted.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Veggie I installed Olio and saw my nearest Iceland had sold out of Lucky dips since then they’ve only had them listed in stores 6 miles or more away. have  bought some of their half price offers so the apps  been handy.

More cupboard clearout today. Big Grin Lots of breakfast cereal including granola, muesli & porridge oats so this will keep me in FREE breakfasts for a couple of months. Also tinned soup, condensed milk, Chinese sauces and pesto. Seem to be picking up a lot of unwanted pesto recently!
Next stop was some Dog treats for Ted.
Third stop was a CD rack and two boxes, full of classical music & opera CDs, Apparently they belonged to a professional conductor (Music, not buses) who worked with Bryn Terfel, the Welsh bass-baritone.
Fourth stop was the pharmacy for a Flu Jab and, while I was there, the pharmacist said I had very dry skin and she could give me something for it - adding hastily - its FREE. Naturally, I accepted her offer. Big Grin

Its been a good day!

Not recyling but could be classed as free stuff. A good day. I got a winter fuel payment and the solar FIT payment all on one day.

I had two letters together. One infoming me I would get a £200 fuel paymnt into my bank account some time soon (not happened yet though) The other letter informed me I owed roughly the same amount in tax! Rolleyes
