Spent the morning bottling stewed apple and bingeing on 60's radio, really loud!

Mixed some coir and bagged compost ready for use. Planted the rooted & shooted ginger that I found in the avocado box yesterday. Pulled up some ivy from the aubretia corner and took some accidental "cuttings". Potted these up.
Did a bit of GH tidying & tomato pruning.

Did some washing - didn't dry properly so moved it into the log store.
Watched the black cat from nextdoor but one, playing with acorns on the tin roof of our shed.
Took cuttings of Hot Lips salvia and a purple flowered salvia (encouraged by SC).

Maybe I should take some cutting of hotlips and it's purple cousin too to make sure I've got some in the spring. I've no idea whether the adult plants (only the result of springtime cuttings) will survive our frosts, even though I'll be keeping them in the gh probably.

Washing done here too. Raked and chopped up leaves. P cut the grass hopefully for the last time before spring. I sat in the compost bin, like a baby in a play pen, digging out the remaining compost, sieving and bagging up some of it, to clear the bin ready for next year's garden stuff. It's been so dry some of the compost is solid like a brick. Had a play with nextdoor's puppy.
