Just to say thanks

Good evening, I am not on this forum very often but there are some members whom I would call friends, so to them I just want to let you know that I will be stopping coming on to the forum as I feel I am spending to much time on computers and intend returning to a more normal (for me) life, I'm sorry there was a split recently, but I dont know all the things that were happening behind the scene, but I do wish you all well, so keep safe and enjoy your gardening

As for the other place, I've always believed that, when you stop enjoying something, you should move on and not waste any more time on it. That time had come for me and I'd rather be here, with a small group of friends than elsewhere. I miss some of the nice people over there and I wish them well - as I do you.

To be fair I didn’t join the other one until about it’s 3rd or 4th year and then wandered off the cliff edge for a few years, so it had time to develop and grow organically (like what I did there ).

This site could take just as long, maybe longer, or shorter to reach such number. I don’t really mind, I like learning new things, experimenting passing on some less than pearly wisdoms.

It would be nice to have a few extra bods then you wouldn’t have to listen to my spouting utter nonsense. I’d also find more things and people to poke fun at, I’m not very serious at all really. and don’t say invite people to join.... does it look like I have friends I’m a naked gnome!!!

The door will always be open I wish you well and thank you for the contribution you have made to our little venture.

Hopefully all our lives will return to normal again soon, but in the meantime, good health to you and yours

Sorry to see you go Curly, my philosophy when shopping is to use farmers markets, small co-operatives and family run businesses where possible. This site fits well with that.
