Whilst shopping ealier today in Heron's I came across two fresh cod steaks in beadcrumbs for £2.00. I had these for my lunch with some YS Baetta cheese.
These wee the nicest thik steaks of vey white fish I have had for a long time.
Depending on how I feel I may share some smashburgers with Kato later?

Breast of lamb with mint sauce cooked in ai fyer and eaten whilst waiting for small pork joint (£3.60) to cook in oven.
Sliced pok joint on chopping board, added a dollop of Bamley apple sauce and ate it diect from board with Kato sitting in font of me and getting his fair share!

B. Stewed apple, granol & yogurt
L. Toasted seedy bread with salmon paste & tomatoes
D. Prawns and mushrooms, cooked in sweet soy sauce with "broken" basmati rice (bought during Covid when there wasn't much choice on the shelves. It appealed because it was much cheaper than normal basmati but it was a huge bag and I've only just managed to finish it. Won't buy another bag of that size again!).
