Bit brighter today - seems to have been some overnight rain. If I was in control of the weather, rain would always be overnight and the day would be sunshiny and bright.

We've had some decent rain at last on Thursday night. I didnt hear it but I understand it was fairly vigorous, the butts are nearly full and the pond replenished. Clever P set up a scheme to allow the overflow water from the roof collection butt to be diverted to the pond so we didn't waste good water. Autumn has arrived with a thump. We're due some more rain this afternoon.

Dryish this morning but the forecast rain has arrived. Not sure that it will be enough to fill the waterbutts though. I'm keeping my legs crossed.

Crossing my legs worked - as far as I can tell from indoors, it hasn't stopped raining and the water butt that I can see through is full.
