2025 doing something new / different

I have a 'directors chair' i use to sit out on. When it has been warm, and mainly to cool Kato down, I have opened one door of the french doors and put the chair in front to stop Kato escaping. When he was younger he would have just leapt over the top, but not now! It's nice for me too, to have the door wide open and listen to the birds, or more recently to the rain bouncing off the decking!

I made a 3 -fingered glove.
It was very easy to do - I cut 2 fingers off a pair of woolly gloves - before you ask it was the two-fingered gesture ones!
There was a reason - of course. I have a tracker watch with a "rubbery" strap which irritates my skin. The buckle also digs into my skin. I've tried putting cottonwool and tissues beneath the strap to keep it away from my skin - neither worked very well. It was clear that I needed something that I could use to cover the strap and, since I'm not very "crafty" I thought about using glove fingers.
I'm pleased to say that they work perfectly - no irritation since sliding them over the strap a few days ago. Don't look very elegant but who cares about that, nobody looks at my watch except me..........its 15.09 now.
