2020 - What I harvested today

First proper harvest of the summer (i.e. specifically for a meal):

  • Cos lettuce for Caesar salad (mostly Mordore and Claremont)
  • A couple of sage leaves for the herby seared tofu (to go on the salad instead of chicken)
  • 50g CFBs
I don't have an immediate need for the beans, but they were hanging very low and I didn't want the slugs to get them. Will probably steam them and add to the Caesar salad.
How much veg and wildlife can I pack into a 6m x 8m garden in suburban Cambridge? Let’s find out!  Smile

Sugar snaps and CFBs - thankfully I went out early and dodged the thunderstorms and accompanying downpour!
