Planted out the beans and sweet peas and lettuce that have been waiting patiently at the plot in their trays for a week or two. Did some hand weeding. Collected fruits and flowers

Emptied the last potato tub and planted a Tromba in it. Also Planted another Tromba in another pot. Both of these will stay on the patio and I'm hoping that, if they grow, I can train them along the dwarf fence that stops the dogs from jumping off the edge of the patio.
Moved 2 tubs of Physalis out of the GH and onto the patio.
Shuffled some of the GH tomato pots around to give them more elbow room.
Sowed lettuce seeds around the Tromba & Physalis.
Planted another 6 random courgettes in VP4. Sowed carrots between all the courgettes and some beetroot.
Dug up some ferns for someone who wanted them on the Free Site.

Pulled up a bolting beetroot and broccoli. Dead headed the cottage garden. Chopped everything up and added to the compost bin. Earthed up spuds. Did a bit more work on the bird table.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Managed to get the bottom framework of the shed from hell assembled. I now await the delivery of the two 10 foot lengths and two 8 foot lengths of 4" X 4" timber to set the frame on.

Pulled up bracken and cut down Alexanders so that I can get into the fruit bushes to pick.
Decided to turn VP2 into a fruit cage. Its an old polytunnel frame covered with wire netting to protect a couple of cherry trees from birds. It won't keep small birds out but should stop pigeon and probably blackbirds. I'll take some redcurrant cuttings as they seem to be the most vulnerable - maybe blackcurrants too. Its good to have a plan!
