Sown seeds. pricked out and potted on. Started filling a fish box ( this years veg bed) . Picked up a pile of stones I’ve been collecting while digging. Added them to the ditch. Collected my first watering can of sea water today. Must remember to wear wellies next time, it really didn’t go well. Harvested stuff.

I have a blocked drain to sort and a larrge pile of logs to shift and stack. They have been lying there since last  Thursday  Rain was forecast for today so I thought I had better prioritise the logs? This morning I set too moving them and stacking them and managed to get it completed just before the rain came! Cool

I now need to tackle the blocked drain with either  a pressure washer to blast it clean or some drain rods I can borrow off my SIL, Worse case scenario I will have to get the ladders out and undo all the fastening clamps on the downcomer, try and dislodge it out the way and rod the drain from that end? Joy! Rolleyes

Planted out a couple of nasturtiums and pansies . Went down to the old place and sorted out the next vehicle load of stuff to come back here. The tunnel is very nearly empty.

Rained most of the morning and we had thunder. Cleaned out the GH gutters to catch more water in the water butts, as they're a bit low.
Did a bit of pruning during a dry spell, caught my foot on a fallen branch and did a "graceful" collapse into the middle of the alexanders! The dogs thought it was a game and jumped on me. I was helpless, couldn't get up for laughing, and the more I laughed, it made the dogs all the more convinced that I was playing. Fortunately nothing was broken, not even the stick!

Finished weeding fruit cage no.1. Speedwell and another blue flowering weed are even out doing the bittercress. What was a green carpet of weeds is now bare soil. As soon as the rain comes I expect they'll all start growing again. Disheartening isn't it?

I didn't get the drain unblocked yesterday so tackled it today.

NOTE-:Graphic detail to follow so look away if you are of a nervous disposition, especially if eatig a meal!!!!!!!

I managed to hook up the hose and jabbed it up the sewer from the manhole! It was rather exilerating to see a large sausage gradually appear. It was the diameter of the drain and comprised of congeled toilet paper and feces! It was abuot 8 foot long and I chopped it up with the hose pressure as it came out, and flushed it away. I was down that manhole for about two hours and couldn't wait to get out, disrobe and have a shower with all clothes bunged straight in washing machine! (toyed with the idea of putting them in the bin) Rolleyes
Needs must, but was chuffed I got it sorted and didn't need to pay someone to unblock it! Smile
