Yesterday was a busy day so I had a steak pie from Morries on the go at lunch time and shared Donar Kebab meat with Kato after evening excercises.

For lunch today it was rump steak, black pudding, mushrooms, and for a change & because I fancied it, some pease pudding! All cooked in butter (apart from pease puddin, of course) and with an extra 'chunk' of butter on plate to keep up the fat content!

B, Porridge with tinned peaches and clotted cream (a month past its best before date but it looked, smelled and tasted OK).
L. Nairn's Oat cakes (use by March 24) with cheese.
Nuts and raisins.
D. Cooked Green lentils (March 23), with a tin of chopped tomatoes (2/24), a leek and a dash of Worcestershire sauce, eaten with leftover mash.
All FREE and I gained some cupboard space.

It'll be chilli tonight if I can get the slow cooker out from the depths of the cupboard.

One of our shop/post office has changed to a 'Morrisons Daily' I'll have to see if the franchise has the same offers as the larger stores.
