[I took stock of what has germinated, what's growing well and realised I need a whole lot more tomatoes, and lots more of everything really. My sowing early experiment is a success though, which will help me space out my sowings in future years. I might just need another grow light or two.

Some seeds didn't germinate at all, and I sowed quite a few of them, so I've put them on a heat mat. The mat was hidden in lots of other stuff we hadn't unpacked, and I'm so pleased to be able to put it to good use.

Cherry Falls - sow by 2019
Tumbling Tom Red - 6/2014
Minibel 2022
Vilma - 12/2016
Balconi Red - 12/2019

They have a week to prove themselves - if not, I'll sow some fresher seeds.
For the record - they all germinated. The lowest germination was Cherry Falls (2019) and the best Vilma (2016). Not sure how many seeds were sown of each so that may have influenced the results, but, just shows that all old seeds (like people) deserve a chance. Big Grin
