As it happens, I stumbled across this youtube video on houseplants today. Here's a link to a short segment where he shows off his success propogating Begonia Rex and explains how he did it.

I took my old leaf up to the gh with a view to adding it to the compost. The leaf was rotting. I upended the pot and found some manky baby roots. I repotted it on the off-chance it might grow.

Veggie, your leaves arrived today. I've given them a misting of water and put the stems in water to recover from jetlag. I'll use the plastic box method of propagation for these two. BTW Frank had a day off. Thanks.
