2025 - How's your weather today?

Just hung the washing out and it's started to rain! Grrrrrrrr!

Rained early morning but now the suns out.

Grey and damp - like my hair after a shower!

It's been so lovely here the last couple of days. Thankfully I was off work yesterday, so that was timed perfectly! I set up my first bed on the bank of the pond, large enough to cover two large packing boxes that are unfolded. I collected soil from mole hills and poured over, and some loose soil from where the wild boar have dug around. I have a compost going, and it's just about ready - I stopped topping it up around November, and it looks like it should be ok The new compost heap looks like it's going to take longer. I suppose it does, over winter.

Glorious sunshine again today, but we had a hard frost last night, and some of the world was still sparkly white this morning. I'm not in a rush to plant anything out yet.

My GH  reached 34c today and that was with the door and auto vent open

The predicted overnight temp is 4c

Lovely and sunny walk along the river with shorts and tee shirt on! (And Kato of course!)

Yesterday was glorious and, like Vinny, I discarded a layer or two of clothing.........I went shopping in Morries without my coat!!
Today. back to normal - its raining.

Similar here. Yesterday was like a beautiful summers day. No coat or jumper needed for most the day. Today is dry at the moment, but there’s a mighty cold strong north wind blowing.

What a diference from the weekend! Bitter here today but the sunshine and temperatures at the weekend were well appreciated.
