Not a freebie, but just got a David shepherd art print at a very reasonable price. From the local buy & sell fb page.

Years ago, I visited a distant cousin in Bristol, and they had several David Shepherd prints of aircraft on the walls, one was an original painting - the husband was related to Shepherd in some way. I had the impression that the wife would have preferred something "prettier" in her living room. They were a bit overwhelming!!

Unfortunately not. But it is African wildlife. Zebras. I believe the lady has 2 others available and one of them is rhino. Which I think will also be coming home with Bob when he goes to collet the zebras. Apparently she also has a Kim Donaldson print. He has a very similar style to Shepard. Don’t know what that is, so don’t know if Bob will be coming home with that one.

I’ve had a bag of Quinoa given me, no instructions on the bag.
Has anyone here used it, every recipe seems to give different instructions.

From Hodmedod;s
Rinse, cover with 1½ to two parts water or stock for each 1 part quinoa, bring to the boil and then simmer on a very low heat for 15 minutes. The grains will absorb the water and swell to 2 to 3 times their original size. Fluff the grains apart with a fork.

I used some yesterday. Instructions on the packet 100g of quinoa into 300ml of boiling water or stock. Reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
I usually add some to a chilli or bolognaise and add an extra 300ml of stock to it. If I’m not following a proper recipe for quinoa.

IN came some Dental chews and treats for the dogs, some cupboard clearout stuff - flax seeds, saffron (the real thing in a tiny jar) & gravy granules and, from Olio, 2 bunches of bananas and a Tiger loaf.
