Sown Walla walla onion seeds in modules which will be going in an unheated propagator in the bedroom!
Put some Champagne Rhubarb seeds in water to soak for 12 hours (seed packet instructions).
Also soaking beansprout seeds in a jar for the windowsill.
A little update - the Walla Walla are up and now on the windowsill. The Rhubarb has just started germinating. Big Grin That's 10-12 days after sowing

Onion seed. Rijnsberger, Zebrune, Ailsa Craig & Red Baron. All seeds a bit suspect as they're out of date. I sowed plenty, far more than I need, you see, they'll all pop and I won't have a clue what to do with them all Smile.

Sprinkled some "Salad leaves - Frilly leaf blend" seeds in a pot where I've previously sown chard - no sign of germination and I'm not waiting any longer!
Also emptied a jar of sprouted bean shoots (that have grown too large to be appetising) on a pot, sown with Bijou mangetout. I never did get round to growing Mung beans to maturity - maybe this time?

Your cabbages, Veggie, are they able to go out early? I'm itching to start them, but not sure how they cope with frost. I'm not frost free here until mid- to late May

No idea, Sarriss! It'll be a while before they're big enough to plant out so they'll be in the GH until then.

I did a bit more impulse sowing indoors yesterday.

Three kinds of lettuce that spent their night in the fridge, and some spring onions and radishes cluster-sown in module trays.
The lettuce will be pricked out and grown on indoors for salad leaves. The modules will go in the greenhouse bed once they are ready.
