A lot of companies don’t bother wasting their time with an explanation! But it’ll be because we live one an island. They’re not the first and won’t be the last.
I’ll probably very begrudgingly reorder from them and have it delivered to my friend's house. She’s coming for her annual visit middle of next month.

I have some mangelwurzel seeds in my stash - they've been there for years - from a seed swap , I think! Haven't been tempted to sow them since I read that they were grown as cattle fodder. I assumed they were like swedes and would be yellow.
You'll have to let us know how you get on with those ugly beasts!!

Apparently they’re somewhere between beets & beetroot. Sweeter and not as earthy as beetroot. And definitely a conversation piece. Which I like in a veg garden.

have you done your wish list yet Veggie ?  Big Grin

I've acquired lots of pots and planters (18) containing pansies, cyclamen, osteospermum, & N/K trailing plants, plus thornless blackberries, raspberries & redcurrants. All in need of some TLC, but hey, TLC is FREE, as were the plants!
All from a contact (the Eyelash Lady) on the FREE site. She's moving house and doesn't want to take all her pots/plants with her. the plant I collected were outside her house for anyone to collect but she invited me into her back garden and showed me lots of stuff she has to get rid of. I turned down a garden bench (one of those with strings, not a solid base) and some roses that were exceedingly thorny and troubled by black spot. She's promised to let me know when she has more plants to go. Big Grin. I'm hoping that she needs a home for a couple of planters on legs. Wink

Yes, N/K = Not known as I haven't a clue what they are.
