Hopefully that will do the year, mixed with what I’ve got left from last year.

That’s the stuff I used last year. Very good. But our Oban Homebase closed down Saturday. Which is very annoying as someone is going over to the mainland tomorrow, I was going to get them to pick me some up. that stuff I linked to works our at £8.80 a block so not too bad.

My local Homebase closed down a few years ago. I used to pop in after Morrisons to check out the yellow sticker plants section - I miss them.

Our nearest Homebase closed down years ago. It's now a giant Home Bargains.
I bought some of those coir blocks from Elixir Garden Supplies last week. The size varies wildly, and the boxes always smell a bit like cheese. I remember paying about £5 a block years ago.
The cheapest coir I ever got hold of was fly tipped on a country lane by weed growers. They chuck away the grow bags too. Loads of gardeners would probably be happy to have it dropped off in their front garden instead, but then I guess the growers don't want to be caught on camera.

Any reason why they cancelled??
It says they deliver to the Islands for £4.99 - could it be that?
