I stood there, with the instruction book in my hand while it came to pressure, since its a bit different to the one I've been using for the last 20 years! Fortunately, it worked as it should and I'll be more confident next time I use it.
.............and everything tasted bland and full of 'sameness'? Huh
NO, why do you say that?

I’ve bought a lettuce today  Confused  the first one in almost 20 years.

Mine failed, they weren’t happy with the low temperatures, they might pick up so I’m giving them a bit of a rest.

Speaking from my experience of using a pressure cooker. Used to cook dinners in them with tatties cabbage, swede carrots etc. They all came out devoid of taste and what taste their was was all tasted the same! Because of this I threw mine out years ago. Rolleyes
If you rate them highly, so be it, I'm just stating my perception of pressure cookers! Cry

Did you separate them in the pressure cooker? I cooked potatoes, carrots and parsnips last night and they tasted as they should. I wouldn't cook cabbage in the pressure cooker as its so easy to overcook it. Not a fan of squidgy cabbage.
