For the last week the rain has been horrendous. Torrential & prolonged. But yesterday & today have been a bit breeze and a good few hail storms ( big stones too) mixed between the downpours.
This is what the rest of today’s forecast looks like. Calming down later, thankfully.

The winds this weekend have been stronger than the last named storm. As a Scottish meteorologist pointed out. It’s not affecting anyone near the met office. So it’s doesn’t get named. Even though there’s some very populated areas over on the east coast being hit by winds of around 80mph .

My version of the weather forecast for recent days. I’ll sleep when I’m dead ! Because it isn’t happening now.

We're in a Yellow wind warning area too. Yesterday, it seemed to be worse than it was in in the last named storm.
Not too bad at the moment and its a bit sunshiny. Might be able to get the tarpaulin back over the roofless GH.

Black ice on paths and roads covered with a light duting of snow made Kato's morning walk quite treacherous. Because of the ice I imagine it must have doubled my step count as I was walking with steps half my usual pace in case I fell over!

It.s also quite windy and the cold seems to get through no matter how many layers you have on.Unusually for me,I was glad to get home. Rolleyes
