I need inspiration and who better to ask than the brainy/nutty people here.
As you know, I'm trying to garden, using a 3 week rotation plan - Wk 1 = Roots & Shoots; Wk 2 = Fruits & Wk 3 = Leaves. I'm getting ready for 2025 and some sort of diary/action plan is needed. Conventional diaries are in months of 4 weeks which doesn't adapt easily to my 3 week rotation.
I'm looking for a word to describe an interval of "3 weeks". There are 17 of these "3 weeks" in a year. The year starts on the first Monday and ends on the last Sunday. The odd days at the end and beginning of the year are "rest" days.
Needless to say, it doesn't have to be a "real" word. Something like:-
Threeks
Trims
Triplans
Triplots
Trill
Trio
Tricks
Trickles

My Lunatic Veggie Calendar is made up of:-
17 Tics of 3 weeks each.
Each Tic has 3 branches, lasting a week each - Roots/Shoots, + Strip 1; Fruits + Strip 2 ; Leaves + Strip 3.
Each Branch has 7 Veg Plots or VPs.
That's it. Simple.

I have half a grasp ( ok so probably more a finger tip barely touching, rather than a grasp ) of the lunatic veggie calendar. As long as it makes sense to you, that’s all that matters .
Very pleased I inspired you to come up with the name. It’s very fitting .

I'm totally confused but you will be happy as a sandboy planning it all out.

Tic. That makes me think of blood sucking insects or involuntary movements. Perhaps a tic (insect) with a tic ? A tic with branches, well that's an insect with trees instead of legs that wriggle involuntarily. Quite unsettling, it's what horror films are made of.
On the otherhand re-reading it, the other unsettling thought is that I understand what you're on about.

Here's a back of the envelope version of the Tic system. Obviously, neither JJB or SC need it as you understand...................................Hope this doesn't confuse you.

You've set yourself quite an onerous task there, a commitment to sow something every day of the week. Am I right in thinking that all of week one would be dedicated to sowing roots & shoots but each day of that week would be sowing in a different VP and perhaps a different variety? Silly question but do you have enough different seeds to sow for each day of the week? Are you planning to set these aside for sowing in advance or just have a random scrabble in your boxes. I think perhaps I would be fed up by Sunday of R&S and have the urge to sow something completely different. I think I'd cut myself some slack and have the weekend as a wild card so you could be completely random. There is also the weather and optimum sowing time to be taken into consideration. Three weeks is quite a long time in the spring sowing season to catch up, if you aren't in the correct week for a particular sort.
I know what I trying to say, but it's not really coming out sensibly.
