B. Porridge, banana & yogurt
L. Avocado & lettuce sandwiches
Custard doughnut
D. Battered Fish in a sandwich made with sunflower & pumpkin seeded bread.

The Fish was from Aldi "Everyday Essentials" range - £2.50 for 4 fillets. The fish is pollack and it actually looked like fish, unlike some of the slurry that goes in some cheap fish products. It made a good sandwich and I preferred it to the battered fishfingers I've bought recently. At 62p a fillet it comes in well under my £1 a day target.

I find that Pollack fish looks and tastes very similar to Cod but is half the price! Smile

I've just bought four Pollack portions from Morries in there 'Savers ' range to try? Same price as Aldi's at £2.50! I'll let you know my thoughts once I try them. Unlike you veggie, these won't last me four days though! Rolleyes

I've just had the Morries Pollack cooked in the air fryer. I would give it a 7/10 as the fish to batter ratio was too low in my estimation?. In its favour, the batter was tasty and crispy though.
I'll have to try the Aldi version at the same price and see how that scores!  Huh

Watch this space for another exciting installment! Rolleyes Big Grin Tongue
