Sweet peas. An old fashioned mix from Unwins I picked up on sale at Tesco a few weeks ago. They're indoors in root trainers waiting for germination.

Did a trial sowing of some very old, microgreens - mustard, broccoli, purple basil & rocket. I emptied each packet onto a 30ltr pots of old compost in GH1. I'm not expecting them to do much/anything as they're about 8 years old. However, it eases my conscience prior to throwing the seeds in the compost bin.
Also scattered a jar full of mixed perennial and wild flower seeds in odd spots in the garden. They have more chance in the garden than they do in a packet!

Keep us updated with any germination. It’s always good to know when old seeds prove the use by date wrong

Not quite "sowed" but I emptied some YS Shitake mushrooms onto a tub of old woodchips. They have 2 chances but they were past the stage of eating so nothing lost!
