Sirloin steak, eggs and broad bean. Is it only me who eats the 'whole' cooked bean (not the pod of course) as I know people tend to shell them?

I eat the pod, if I pick them early enough - about little finger size, when you can eat them like a runner bean.

Think tonight will be beef curry with rice. Unless I find something more exciting than diced beef, when I go to the freezer (which is 2 doors up).

Well three days ago it was sausage and bean casserole using up dried beans a pkt of YS sausages old carrots & onions plus the ubiquitous courgettes and last year's frozen roasted tomatoes. Meal 1 was plain casserole but P said it was tasteless so meal 2 was Moroccan sausage and beans (I bunged a tablespoon of spices and let it percolate in the fridge overnight. This was an improvement. Meal 3 last night was, guess what, leftovers. Tonight will be something completely different but heaven knows what I'm fed up with casseroles.
