Giant pumpkins do seem a little more tricky to germinate than others I’ve grown. Keep trying I don’t want to be growing a monster alone.  . Veggie have you sown yours yet ?

Starting to do things in the garden again. Bathroom still needs some tiling and wood trims doing but the new furniture, electric shower, bath, toilet and sink, are all plumbed in and connected. When I did the original bathroom, about 40 years ago, I used solder joints in the plumbing but this time, as I was only using a few joints so I thought, I used compression ones. I would never use them again (not that I intend to do any plumbing ever again) as it was extremely difficult to stop some of them from weeping.

These little chaps are eating dandelions and sow thistles from my garden. 
The more you look, the more there are!
NB They're not in my garden but with a tortoise rescue lady that I know.
