While in civilisation I went to a garden centre     . I was very restrained, I could of easily spent a fortune!
I got a camellia, hellebore, oriental lily, 2 winter flowering heather, bay, trailing viola and a bag of compost.
Also came home with lots of other plants that my friend has given me. Golden rod, lavender, mint (can’t remember name, but one I’ve not got), sage, big white scabious, strawberries,  2 varieties of salvia. Think that’s all of it. I’ll be back later if I discovered any more when we unload the truck.

My confession relates to the recent DTBrown & MrF £1 a packet seed offers, or, with the half price code, 50p a packet.
I placed 6 orders totalling £49 which bought 98 packets plus 6 free packets and one they sent by mistake = 105 packets. Full price would have been about £318.

Ordered 6 x Joan J autumn raspberries from Mr F, using the 20% discount and this weekend's Free P&P. Also ordered a 99p packet of seeds in order to get another free packet. Oddly the 20% off Code didn't work for the seeds - I feel cheated.

I ordered a batch of RHS seeds today, one of my favourite membership perks.I should have done it a week ago, because quite a few nice ones had run out. Still, I found 15 I like for my £10:

 Phacelia tanacetifolia (fiddleneck)
 Aruncus dioicus (goat's beard)
 Cephalaria gigantea (giant scabious)
 Francoa ramosa (bridal wreath)
 Lobelia siphilitica (blue cardinal flower)
 Nepeta parnassica (Greek catmint)
 Primula bulleyana (Bulley's primrose)
 Primula Candelabra hybrids (candelabra primrose)
 Primula florindae (Tibetan cowslip)
 Sanguisorba canadensis (white burnet)
 Silene dioica (red campion)
 Succisa pratensis (devil's bit scabious)
 Veronica longifolia (garden speedwell)
 Cyclamen hederifolium (ivy-leaved cyclamen)
 Nicandra physalodes (apple of Peru).

It'll be fun trying to get that lot to grow!

I’ve acquired 2 extra roses thanks to the incompetence of couriers.

This year, for the first time, I've kept a record of how much I've spent on the garden - seeds, plants, compost, pots etc. Quite an eye opener.
