2023 - How's your Weather today?

Overbearing heat and humidity. Overcast today but still oppressive. Walking out of the door this morning was like getting out of the aeroplane on arriving in Spain on holiday. We may be in for a more usable day if the cloud cover remains.

Hot with a GH overnight low of 18.9c we're supposed to be having a thunderstorm this afternoon,    I thought it was raining earlier but it was a shower of Silver Birch seeds.

Started to rain in the last 10 minutes. Big drops but not very heavy......yet.

Yesterday morning started off bright, but we had a monsoon in the afternoon. Because It wa so 'clammy' in the morning I had quite a few windows open. Once the rain and wind came in the afternoon windowsills and floors in front room got a good soaking. Anyway, every cloud has a silver lining so saved me watering my indoor and outdoor potted plants!

Its been raining here since yesterday lunchtime, just what my garden needed. 

Winter has arrived! Temperature has dropped like a stone. Very heavy rain and wind picking up. Gusting to about 40mph. Got the fire light. Forecast says it’ll all be lovely again tomorrow. Not sure I believe it, but hope so. Don’t fancy strimming in this.

Sunshony again today - good enough to dry a load of washing.

Cooler night, misty morning with a promise of a nice day. Not been out for a few days as I've been a bit under the weather. I think there's loads of tidying up in the garden required.

I agree with SC that winter has arrived. We had spring, missed out on Summer, Autumn appeared briefly and now we have full on winter! Forecast is for rain, and more rain for about a week...............wonderful!

As for the weather, its still sunshiny here. Long may it remain so - but I think rain is forecast.
