I stopped/forgot to keep counting. However, my overall verdicts are:-
Cucumbers - Beth Alpha are my best producers and favourites to eat. My trials of other cucumbers confirmed that I prefer non-prickly cucumbers and I don't like white ones that turn yellow if you turn your back. I've bought some Emilie for next year, based on Mark's results, will grow Beth Alpha again and maybe Defender because I have lots of seeds
Courgettes - after a slow start, they really took off - there are still some to pick although the pond is flooded. I grew them in bottomless pots of compost and it was so successful that I'll probably do it again next year. The "Sure Thing" weren't a patch on Parthenon and I'll only grow them again because I have the seeds. They weren't any earlier than the random seeds I sowed later.
Squashes - Cha cha spread everywhere but not productive. Since I have lots of seeds I may try them in a forgotten corner next year as ground cover. Trombas, have failed me again. I tried them in the GH this year but they rotted on the ends before they put on much length or girth.
I would really like to have a good year with these again. It must have been beginner's luck, so many years ago.
The Giant pumpkins didn't leave their modules. Must try harder next year.
