2023 - What I sowed today

Emptied a tub of "Shady Mix" seeds somewhere shady. Sow by 7/2016.
Not holding my breath for these to germinate. I have several more of these tubs too. Where's the embarrassed/ashamed smiley?

I got my 2 propagators going over the weekend, tomatoes in the unheated one and chilli’s in the electric one. Both sitting on the spare room window sill.

1 x 24 module tray each of Zebrune and Long Red Florence
Tom's 4 Gardeners Delight and Lizzano
Cuc's 2 x Lili
In one of the Agralan 49's 1 row each of Dwarf Curly Kale, Brussels Maximus, Crow Garlic, Collies Moby Dick, and 3 rows of Ramsons

Sowed Beetroot - Chioggia Barbietola (the stripy one) & Rainbow mixed Radish in the old chicken run.

Sown rocket wild wasabi, mixed lettuce, nice ’n’ spicy salad mix. They are   Now sat in the dining room on a heat mat under the grow light with the chilli babies.

I emptied all the old leek seeds into a little jar, similarly with the old spring onions, chives and garlic chives and scattered them on empty patches of ground (hope I remember where). Only the leeks had special treatment - sown roughly in rows on the veg patch.
I've brought a tub of compost into the kitchen to thaw out and I'll sow some in date leek seeds in it later.

Sowed leeks yesterday and lettuce, tomatillo, melons and celery today.

I couldn't get out because of the weather and had previously brought some compost filled modules indoors to warm up, so I just had to sow something.

In went some tomatoes, some new to me 'patio' varieties and some supposedly early and more cold tolerant indeterminate ones. If you want to know varieties shout and I'll go find my notes.
