2023 - What I sowed today

Shoots day so I sowed:-
Spring onion - Apache, North Holland Red, Paris Silverskin and Shallot Zebrune in modules in the bedroom.
Scattered several packets of old Spring onion seeds in the random onion bed where they have more chance of growing than in their packets.

It's March and therefore spring despite appearances, so I sowed (in pots):
- Cabbage "Primo"
- Sunflower "Giant Grey Striped"
- Nigella "Light Blue"
- Lavatera "Twins Hot Pink"
- Godetia "Crown Mix"
- Cosmos "Purity", "Xanthos", "Cosmix", "Brightness Mixed"
- Mesembryanthemum "Livingstone Daisy Mixed"
- Gazania splendens
- Nicotiana "Sensation", "Whispers", "Marshmallow"
- Primula bulleyana
- Primula florindae

I’ve sown a blood orange pip.

Sowed Bijou Mangetout peas in a pot in GH1.
Sowed Crisp mixed lettuce leaves in GH1 bed
Sowed Rocket in the garden, near the Lovage. Hoping to grow a patch of rocket and let it self seed there. Pretty flowers too.

Sowed a few beetroot in small modules. Including 4 seeds that I chitted as a viability check (every seed deserves a chance).

6 x Sweet Pepper "Jimmy Nardello's"
1 x 10 module tray of Rudbeckia "Green Eyes"

Sowed a few achocha fat baby (from seed exchange).

Sowed some Dwarf Blue Scotch Curled kale (howzat for a mouthful) and some Cosberg lettuce.

Sowed just a few own saved gomphrena strawberry fields. Still a bit early I think- but itching to get some going.

Sowed some carrots, Early Nantes, in a pot in the greenhouse.
