Very cold today - felt much colder than the 3 degrees the BBC app was telling me. Hardly any wind.
Snow at lunch time, but not enough to settle. -5 tonight.

Sunny but cold again. Local roads are closed because of black ice - including the one outside my house! I'll be going out later, not sooner.

-5.8 at 8am, now at 10.30 it's still -2. Not that windy and dry so it could be worse.

My world turned white this morning! Looked pretty but, thankfully, the sun thawed most of it. What's left is frozen now and a bit slippy.

No more snow today - but a heavy frost - my world is still white! The sun arrived midday but not warm enough to thaw the white stuff. I haven't looked in the GHs for a couple of days - I wonder what has survived?

Snow doesn't seem to have thawed for about three days now and overnight temperature means we have a frost as well. Overcast a the moment but supposed to be sunny according to the weather forecast? 
Will soon be stting out on a long pictureque walk with Kato who is in his element.  The problem is, I wrap up to keep warm then when I return I am soaking with sweat, so its another clothes change!

Overnight frost but its all sunshiny now with a beautiful blue sky. Still some snow in the shadow of the trees.
