In answer to Veggie's puzzle I'm going to go for tank 1. But that depends upon the tap flow being greater than the outflow.
If the above is false, ie the flow rate is not great enough to fill no. 1, the the answer is tank 6.

Ok now that Danny has loaned his glasses to me, I see that Vinny is correct...tank number 6 is the answer! As to the lions, even with the glasses I have no idea!!
