Snow flurries this morning -6 overnight. P went out in his next to nothings to feed the poor birdies. He did mention it was cold I did consider locking him out just for fun, but he's going to help me put up the crimbo lights today, so thought better of it, I know there would be revenge

Snow overnight. Just been scraping it off the car so that I can collect my weekly sourdough bread consignment! The road is clear so that's good. Its thawing too.

Cold and getting colder. -8.2 at 0800 and -8.4 at 0815. Sun is starting to shine though so it's cheerful enough. P will be happy.

Another -8° C morning. I haven't had the courage to traipse up to the gh over the frozen lawn to see what has died in the cold
The pond and waterfall froze for the first time this morning and there was ice on the inside of the double glazed bedroom window. Can't imagine we're being promised 13° by Monday. No wonder we Brits always talk about the weather.

Bitterley cold but just been out to get a few logs in for this evening and it seems to be thawing slightly?

Instant black ice. Went out with Kato where it was 'crunchy' underfoot and when I was out it drizzled with rain. Roads that I walked on on the way out were impassable on the return journey as they were like a skating ring!

Rained all day here. Roads now awash and still quite cold.
Lots of garden plants have been frost damaged. Time will tell if they'll recover.

Black ice here as well Vinny, we’ve been out in the car visiting so I was glad to be back home.

Very wet, grey, grubby and mild. I'd prefer the cold crisp sun.
