At the pub they have rosemary that sends up really long stems... mine is nothing like that! Now I want a tall variety.
I have bought myself some trailing rosemary that will drape over the wall...any one have a variety that has long straight/upright stems.
....I may have to take my snips

My rosemary grows to about 2' then sprawls.
I've seen articles about growing rosemary as a hedge - you could step over my "hedge".
Take your snips to the pub - rosemary is easy to grow from cuttings.
Miss Jessops seems to be a tall one https://www.norfolkherbs.co.uk/product/r...s-upright/

The pub one could easily be a hedge....its dotted along the pathway, all about hip height.
The one i have growing in a pot - that used to be near my kitchen door is about 3ft high..I cut it all year round but that has never sent up long stems

Mine grows tall, every spring I have to chop it back. Could be partly 'cos it's on the north side, so reaching for the light.
I was once told that rosemary grows one foot for every year of Jesus's age, then dies. The lady that told me that had one against the house wall that had to be 15 feet high at least.

I've a rosemary bush at about 3ft tall with upright 'fronds' about 24". If that's the sort you want then I can send you some cuttings. See pic. It gets hacked about regularly by P.

Mine (no name , it came with the house) is over three feet tall, but very bushy/shrubby. No nice stems for cutting.

Hoping JJBs cuttings will take.
