It was damp but OK here all day until 4pm when the heavens opened which was fine by me, I was fed up of doing things by then. I too am fed up of dull and damp. We're never satisfied.

Yesterday morning was sunny the heavy rain/wind all afternoon. Today it’s been sunny I didn’t even need a jacket.

More rinse and repeat. It seems to be stuck in this cycle.

I don't mind bad weather while I'm busy at work and have weekends taken up by studying, so for now, I'm happy. I wasn't so happy when I was soaked through last night walking back to my car lol

Starting off brilliant here. A bit chillier than normal at 5° overnight but par for the course for November. We've had it so mild that we've forgotten what real autumn should be. P will be going back to reducing the conifer height now we have green bin space, I expect I'll be weeding or raking summat and putting things to bed for the winter.

First frost I've noticed this morning. It felt very cold last night so I picked a couple of courgettes that were ready and 2 sweet peppers just turning red - and a knobbly squash/pumpkin not sure which, I'll have to look it up.
Not too many (if any) plants seem to have been got even though the frost felt quite hard on my car so stripped the rest of the french beans for drying. The last courgette plant with 2 smallish fruit on seemed to be happy enough so they should be worth picking some tome in the next week.

Didn't have frost but its been cold enough to kill off all the outdoor selfsown tomato seedlings and the beans. Today was the first dry day for a while and it was nice to get out and do a bit for a change.

First noticable frost here this morning. Lawn was white until about 9.00am but soon dissipated when the sun got out. A nice long autumn walk with Kato in the countryside lifted my spirits! It was then back to hugging the woodburner.
