Shades of red

Still finding things to surprise and delight me in the garden.
Pure chance that these are growing together.

And still they keep coming.
Has saved me a fortune in not buying rocket.

Dianthus starting to go over but love the dark red

Fuchsia, no idea if I can get this though the winter. It certainly hasn’t grown much, but then it’s not had anything resembling a summer. (forever autumn).

   

Love the Sedum - cut every one of mine!

I didn’t realise you could use autumn joy sedum as cut flower. I’ve got some in pot, waiting for their new home to be ready.

Cotinus is one of my favourite red leaved shrubs Plus the autumn hues of Rhus Typhina (Staghorn Sumac) are gorgeous. (Sorry to digress)

I like physocarpus/nine bark as a red shrub
- unfortunately mine shrivelled up in the summer - i hope it comes back in the Spring.
