I got my 10 pkts of flower seeds with the penstemon plants from T&M, very strange that not one of the packets has a date of any kind on it.........or is it?
I'm quite pleased with the varieties though as long as they germinate.
I'm off to look at Nutsncones.

I'm off to look at Nutsncones. T&M never put dates on. One of the very reasons I don’t trust or like them.

And yet I have some T&M pkts with BBE dates. I wonder what makes them do it or not.

Long story short helped bob pick up a new chair from someone who’s just left the island. As the house was empty I helped myself to lots of cuttings from the garden .
I’ll be back later for IDs

And yet I have some T&M pkts with BBE dates. I wonder what makes them do it or not. They're probably out of date. I don't think many of the packets in that silly priced box offer we took advantage of last year had any dates on, and the germination has been really iffy. Even if they were in date I wouldn't expect very good germination from T&M, without a doubt the worst germination rate of any company I've ordered from.

There are very few seeds in that "silly priced box" of veg I bought. Each little sachet I've opened has been very stingy - hardly worth sowing them.

Mine also had loads of wildflower seeds in, none germinated. The weird houseplants I haven't tried to germinate yet. Some of the flower packets have been OK. I've used up or given away most of those little packets, like you say, not much in them at all.

The seeds I got:
Hollyhock Majorette mixed qty 80
Marigold Vanilla Cream qty 50
Nasturtium Black Velvet qty 15
Sweet pea Chatsworth qty 25
Cosmos Purity qty 100
Sunflower Elite Sun F1 qty 20
Aquilegia Mckane Giants mixed qty 20
Bidens Golden Eye qty 75
All of which I might give a try and I haven't got in my box.
And a completely useless ornamental winter gourd.

Like a sheep, I followed Mark in ordering some Emilie cucumber seeds to try next season, together with sweetcorn wagtail, tomato bloody butcher and pak choi blizzard.
